A classic Asian / Oriental design pedestal or display stand with a giltwood base and traditional filigree scroll work. This beautiful piece is inlaid with "jewels" in white, emeral green, royal blue, and ruby red. These are actually tiny pieces of hand cut coloured mirrored glass. The top in red lacquer. Use as display stand, pedestal, even a foot rest! A super piece to complement any decorative object, especially larger and heavier pieces such as a Thai Buddha. Signed with a factory label on the underside. Vintage, late 20th Century. Condition is very good with minor expected wear and loss.
