Vintage Chinese hand painted netsuke fob made from a nut that resembles ivory in texture and colour. One side has an intricately painted birds in cherry blossoms whilst the other side has the verse describing the scenery. Signed by the artist. Purchased in Hong Kong in the 1980’s. This level of skilled workmanship is not found nowadays. This can be used as a wall hanging or as a fob on a key chain or bag or to decorate an Oriental cupboard or cabinet front - cord can be adjusted to suit.
