Original oil on masonite by Donald F. Allan, Still Life Painting of Spring Onions & a Radish in the trompe l'oeil style, very three dimensional. The picture portrays onions and a radish mounted to a paneled wall with a single nail. Presented in a rustic oak frame with milk paint finish.
Signed lower right by the artist and dated 1999 lower left. On the verso is attached a short biography of the artist printed on card stock which is also signed and dated by the artist. The biography reads as follows:

Born in Springville, Utah, the son of Henry K. And Sarah J. Allan, he has attended Brigham Young University in Utah, the Porte Royale in Paris and the Art Students League, National Academy and Salmagundi Club in New York City. Mr. Allan has won numerous awards and trophies in various shows and competitions, including the Bronze Medal in 1978 at the National Academy of Art in New York City. Indeed, one art critic has noted that, "...a desire to bring beauty and happiness into the world impels Mr. Allan to paint such beautiful paintings...".
