Station 15, Fuji fron the Left, from the series Fifty Three Stations of the Tokaido (Hoeido Tokaido)" - 1833-1843, by reknown Utagawa Hiroshige.
Depicts a family and their ox crossing rice paddies with Mount Fuji to the left.
Japanese laid washi paper with good bleed through on verso.  
Framed in 1920's - 30's era, matted with silk brocade and presented under glass in a black lacquer frame.  Date : Original 1833, this is a print from early 20th. C.
In very good condition for its age with strong colouration.
Condition is good with minor wear to frame surface and some very minor expected age-related discoloration to print and matting.
Signature of Hiroshige on this print - 1832 approx - lower left.  Hiroshige b.1797 - d.1858.
Has been opened at back for inspection.
