A pair of old primitive tribal ceremonial bowls, hand carved from tropical hard wood. Dark brown in colour, resembling a turtle, these have been used in the past as can be seen from the interior. The wood as well as the carving is smooth to the touch through years of use. They can be hung on a wall nowadays and make an eye catching display. Can be used as trinket bowls, as serving dishes for, we would suggest, dry snacks or the like. An interesting and highly unusual pair of good sized bowls.
