An older boxed Terracotta Chinese warrior/general made in China. The military figure is wearing a suit of armour over a traditional panelled robe and trousers. His Lamellar armour was probably made of leather, bronze and iron originally. He has a tradtional neck wear and hair of that period. He rests in a lined and padded royal blue box with a small certificate.

This statue was part of the massive army of the Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259-210 BCE), who unified China in a series of wars between 246 and 221 BC. He constructed himself a massive underground tomb, a 22 square mile city guarded by a life-size terracotta army including warriors, infantrymen, horses, chariots and all their attendants and weaponry. Over 7000 terracotta soldiers, horses, and countless bronzes have been discovered in this burial since 1974 in X'ian.
