An early 20th. Century reproduction styled upon figures from the Thai Rattanakosin Kingdom 1782-1932.
This female figure is made from solid dark brown bronze and beautifully gilded throughout - the rich colours contrast beautifully. She rests upon a decorated rectangular platform playing the Klong yao (Thai: กลองยาว) long drum in a sitting position. Traditionally clad in formal or court costume - the detail of which is quite exquisite.
