An early 20th. Century reproduction styled upon figures from the Thai Rattanakosin Kingdom 1782-1932. This female figure is made from solid dark brown bronze and beautifully gilded throughout - the rich colours contrast beautifully. She rests upon a decorated rectangular platform playing the Phin (Thai: พิณ) in a sitting position, similar to a lute. Traditionally clad in formal or court costume - the detail of which is quite exquisite.

Dimensions: W6.5", D9", H15.25". The top of the instrument protrudes 3.5-4" for the side.
