Antique Qing Dynasty Porcelain Punch Bowl with Cabbage Leaf, Bird, & Butterfly design painted in rich, colourful enamels - green, white, rose and yellow primarily. The interior with repeating rows of upright 'cabbages', butterflies and the exterior with repeating butterflies. The upper and lower rims with complex berry & floral designs. Long life symbol, centre base. Central 寿 – shòu (longevity, “long life”). No markings. Circa 1890, made during the Guangxu reign. Condition is fair. No damage or repair but firing flaws have resulted in a loss of enameling in places. Still a stunning display piece as well as a good study piece. 11" diameter x 4 5/8" tall. 4 pounds.
