Antique Chinese Cloisonné Opposing Flower & Butterfly Cylindrical Brush Pots / Vases - a Pair

A pair of very pretty older Chinese Cloisonne vases (brush pots) decorated with a profusion of tastefully shaded flowers and fruits, a pair of turquoise, yellow and green butterflies.
Unusually this weighty & superior pair are mirrored or opposing - the exact reflection of one in the other - this requires skill of the highest level to make - the brass wires are clearly visible and the enamel is very good. Hues of blue and mauve highlight the traditional and auspicious panels - each side has it's own theme, four in total with pale blue upper and lower borders.
Being older cloisonné, these vases/urns have some weight to them and will not disappoint upon arrival.
They have excellent provenance - they were acquired from the estate of a former USA Senator and Governor for Florida in the 1940's - Spessard Lindsey Holland.
Measurements: Dia 4", H8".
