One of the nicest Chinese Antique Carved Rosewood Plant Stands we have seen. in a while.  Classic Chinoiserie.
Masterfully carved rosewood plant stand, pedestal, side table with scalloped top, beaded outer rim and inset scalloped variegated marble. The apron, four legs, and stretcher have exquisite openwork carving in naturalistic bamboo leaf and floral designs - this must have taken a master craftsman a long time to carve. Splayed feet for stability and hand carved stretcher.
No markings.
Qing Dynasty. Late 19th Century/early 20th.
Condition is very good with expected minor loss and repair.
Suitable for displaying plants, statues, vases or flower arrangements - whatever you please.
