Stately looking Mid Century Chinese porcelain covered urn hand painted decorated throughout with colourful enamelled butterflies, moths and flowers on a stippled background. Primarily light brown with orange, yellow and green decorations with green, yellow and brown borders on the base, shoulder area and lid. Topped with a bronze coloured finial. From the Republic period with Kangxi design and Kangxi reign mark mark in red. Markings: Kangxi reign mark in red. Mid-century, circa 1940. This true to form representation of a Kangxi piece will not disappoint upon arrival.
