Antique Chinese cast brass umbrella or parasol stand. Incorporates opposing dragon heads in the openwork handle. The elegant parasol-shaped base has a beautiful embossed design with 6 repeating floral & fruit designs against a faux hammered background. Rests on three small feet and has five individual 'compartments' to stop items getting entangled. From the Art Deco/Arts & Crafts/Aesthetic period. Circa 1920s. Condition is very good with only minor expected surface wear and blemishes.
