Large early footed Mediteranean bowl in a hand-turned elegant tapered form. A rather appealing and tactlile bowl that just ozes with history. Cream glaze with simple green & brown sponge decoration. From the western mediterranean region likely made in Spain, France, Portugal or Morocco. No markings. 18th century. Condition is very good with typical rim fritting, glaze wear, etc but no major damage.
