Interesting early Antique Georgian Brass & Wrought-Iron Fireplace Trivet or Warming Grate in great condition. Attractive brass openwork top plate mounted to tall wrought-iron stand with a turned wooden handle. Designed with two hooks on the front. No markings Condition is very good. Late 18th / Early 19th century. A fantastic piece for gently warming that bottle of red wine or port on those long winter evenings. (Could also be used as a plant or fern stand if required.)
